I noted that AM3874 BCY changed to AM3874CCY and the changes are on SATA system. How does it effect our system and do we need to use a new PSP or software to Handel this?

AM3874BCY is Sitara 2.1 device, while AM3874CCY is Sitara 3.0 device. And the changes between 2.1 and 3.0 device are not only to SATA, but also to HDVPSS, DMM, Control Module. Refer to the AM3874 Silicon errata for all changes between 2.1 and 3.0 device:

See Table 6. Silicon Revision 2.1 Advisory List. All advisories in the 2.1 list are valid for 2.1 device and fixed for 3.0 device.
The last validated software for AM3874 device is EZSDK 5.04.00.11. See the below link for more info:
