unable to connect c5535 ezdsp kit to the computer

hello,

i'm using an c5535 ezdsp kit,

i'm unable to connect my target in debug mode,

i'm getting an error stating that

the Error connecting to the target: (Error -151 @ 0x0)
This utility failed to open the adapter for a custom emulator.
The adapter returned an error.

i'm able to detect the emulator in my device manager ,but the dialog box states that the device is not digitally signed. hw do i correct this.

Have you tried running the test code in Spectrum Digital's support web site with the GEL file provided?

hello,

i tried running the device using the gel file provided in the link,

i am still getting the same error.

i checked into the device manager ,and the snapshot of the device is

my device is recognized,but it cannot start.

Hi,

1. Could you confirm if the .ccxml target configuration file that you're using to connect to the target has the right XDS560 emulation option chosen in Basic > Connection drop-down box in CCS?

2. Can you try uninstalling the driver for the emulator in the device manager and make re-install it (using the drivers available with the CCS installation)?

Hello,

I re-installed device driver from C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ccsv4\common\uscif\ftdi

But still problem continues with same error...

The C5535 ezdsp kit has an XDS100v2 usb connector (J2 on-board) for debug. Would you've tried connecting a usb cable from PC to J2?

XDS560 can't be used as an emulator for c5535 ezdsp.
