omap4470 init: untracked pid 89 exited

I  encountered a problem with porting  JellyBean 4.2.2  and the offical website I referenced is following

I can get into roo filesystem in luck, but the message " init: untracked pid 89 exited"  "init: untracked pid 95 exited"

made system crash. Give me some advices, please. I will appreciate your help.

    I've  check  the thread "how to fix the I2C pullup problem" you recommend, and I found I lost one important step for x-loader.

    If the device is HS that needs to use  MShield signing tool. 

    And  I still want to ask what does "Texas Instruments Inc X-Loader 1.41.0-gdd880470-"dirty" " mean?

    I can into Android filesystem, because our customed board did not use correct rate with dram, but I encounter

    a new problem now. That is pmic can't provide power to cpu. we have referenced the twl6032 datasheet, and find

    when  SMPS1 lout  among the 200mA to 240mA is safe in PFM mode. When it is upper than 250mA that board will

    be shutdown. What can we do to fix it ? PWM mode? tps6236.c ? Thank you very much.

  • Hi Bernie,

    The SMC kernel driver is the component "CONFIG_SECURITY_MIDDLEWARE_COMPONENT", which you can disable through the kernel config.  (By default, it is enabled.)

    It is needed only for the HS (high security) OMAP devices, not GP (general purpose), and removing this component will save some space in the kernel binary.  However, your GP system should still boot and run fine whether or not you disable CONFIG_SECURITY_MIDDLEWARE_COMPONENT. 

    I am not sure if the pmic can be causing the issue. Have you observed any odd  behavior of the power component?
