McASP FIFO access through DATA port (w/o DMA)

Hallo,

I have DM8168, and I need to access data present in McASP FIFO.

When the interrupt is triggered I read 16 samples, and about 3us are used. I think there are too many.

I have already setup data port (RBUSEL = 0).

How can I speed up the read?
