I am engaged in a research and in need to create a Spectrum Analyzing system with frequencies of 2ghz to 3ghz.

Which DSP is most suited?

Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages. Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics.

The 66AK2H12 is our most capable DSP, also including 4 ARM Cortex A15s in addition to the 8 C66x DSP cores.

You first big challenge will be to get the data into the device, but this is a good choice of a DSP device to do your processing on the data.
