How to change sii9022's input but to 16bit YUV format when using DM8168 with DVRRDK 3.0?

Hello,TIer.

Now we use DM8168's DVO2 to output digital video stream to sii9022 with 24Bit-RGB interface bus.

But we now wanna to change the interface bus from 24Bit RGB to 16Bit YUV to save space in PCB board.

And how to change to make DVO2 to output 16Bit YUV to sii9022 with no influence to DM8168's VGA output?

Hi Young,

You could change the output format/interface using sysfs entry output. Please refer user guide to get more idea about this. This will change the VENC output to 16bit yuv interface, you also require to configure sii9022a driver to take input in 16bit yuv format. Sii9022a driver in RDK already supports this. Please look into the driver.
