How to patch TI81XX-LINUX-PSP-04.04.00.02 kernel and uboot

Hi all:

I download TI81XX-LINUX-PSP-04.04.00.02.tgz,

As a newer to linux kernel can anyone tell me how to use 

TI81XX-LINUX-PSP-04.04.00.02.tgz patches, so many pathces,

should i have to patch one by one to the kernel src code ?

I also try to patch the .gz file directly error happens ,

    As per my understanding, Not required, Its already patched.

    Untar the "TI81XX-LINUX-PSP-04.04.00.02.tgz" file and open any one of the *.patch file and compare with your current kernel source file.

    If not worked either use the below command.

    git am patches_folder/*
