TMS320C5505 eZdsp - Won't stop sine output

I just got the product yesterday and I have been trying out various demos, although I am having a hard time finding some definite resources.

That aside, right now I am having a problem. I went to plug the board in today and it keeps outputting a sine wave that changes between pitches, I think it's running the 5505 ezDSP demo program.

I tried loading another program, the LED flash, which does work but the sine wave output it still going on.

I cannot get it to stop.

If I load another program that outputs audio it does overtake it, but it still persists as soon as the new program is halted.

Hello Eric,

Can you use the source program (present in the demo folder) and overwrite/erase the data written in the SPI EEPROM? You could write with any known characters.

I'm not exactly sure how I would clear the data in the EEPROM, but the since then the problem seems to have resolved itself.
