Question on Trustzone Development

Hi,

I want to try out trustzone application and I would like to know which chip support trustzone development, i,e. secure boot, write image to secure zone, communicate with trustzone and so on.

I have a TMDXEVM6614LXE board, I know it has Cortexx-A8, but I do not know if I need extra hardware or software to start using trustzone.  Could anybody help?

  • Hi,

    Check KeyStone II - http://www.ti.com/lit/wp/spry228/spry228.pdf

    Thanks,

    HR

  • Hi,

TCI66xx devices such as TCI6614 are supported directly through Local Field Applications Engineers (FAEs.)  These devices are not supported on the E2E forum.  Please contact your local FAE for support of these devices.  If you are not sure who your local FAE is, then please contact your local technical sales representative and they will be able to put you in contact with your local FAE.

    Thanks.

  • Rajasekaran,

    Thanks for reply.

I wonder if you can point me any EVM board that support secure boot as well as runtime security? Not necessary 6614, any chip or board.  I plan to buy one that meets requests.

  • HR,

I read that doc you mentioned, and it does not actually help me to select a suitable board and start working on trustzone from there.

    Thanks for suggestion

    Br,

  • Hi,

I have requested the experts to answer your question on secure boot. In TCI6614 devicecs support perspective, please follow my suggestion.

    Thanks.

  • K2H as well as K2E devices support secure boot option and the secure architecture in them support trustzone implementation. The documentation and security overview is not publicly available so please get in touch with your local TI contact inorder to obtain this information.

The default EVMs are shipped with non-secure parts so make sure you order an EVM with a secure part.

    Regards,

    Rahul
