[SOLVED] Connection failed "Device_Name" after opening any Remote Tool..

Hello Friends,

I am trying to use Remote Tools for Registry checking. My build option properties are as :

Enable KITL = Yes

Enable Profiling= Yes

and I have build the image in release build.

And in connectivity option, I have selected Add Device with Name TEST_MY_DEVICE

and remaining options are default options.. when i image downloaded successful on the Target device via Ethernet my console display message as

Connecting to Desktop
KITL: Connected host IP: 192.168.1.26 Port: 64429
KITL connected with Desktop

Then i click on Remote tools and select Registry Editor then i select my device name under Platform Builder as TEST_MY_DEVICE and click on okay.. It try to establishing a connection between host and target device but at the end I always got a message as connection failed ........

Any one can help me regarding this issue ???

Check if (auto) Ether is selected while building the binary.

Try to use (auto) Ether device name to get connected. Whether the target is completely up with OS?

Yes, (auto) Ether is selected as a device name.....

Either select your device name which you added while building the binary. Else try to connect using (auto) Ether device name while connecting to target.

I am following the same procedure. Either by adding my own device name or by using the default one .....

Hello Friends,

The problem is self solved. We have to follow certain basic things to create the connection and are mentioned below:-

1. KITL must be enabled

2. Firewall must be turned off.

So, in my case I forgot to turn off the firewall.....
