AD9361 Linux device driver porting to 3.2.0 from 3.12.x

Hi TI Tech support,

I have to port ad9361 driver to 3.2.0 linux kernel,but the ad9361 driver is compatible with 3.12.x kernel

because path of the driver location is different.

and also device is connected through SPI interface with AM335x processor EVM board.

Please guide me how to port the driver from latest kernel to 3.2.0 kernel.

Hi,

Kernel version 3.12 is not yet supported. We only support the kernel which comes with the official AM335x TI SDK (version 3.2).

My suggestion is to research about the APIs used by the driver and how they changed between versions 3.2 and 3.12, and then alter the driver source code accordingly.

I am working with AD9361, you connected AD9361 to BSP just through SPI? The datarate can meet requirements?
