Am currently using the AM3358 procesoor in an aviation project. Have just discovered that the Cortex M3 processor cannot be disabled, or so I believe.
Is it only active in low power/standby/sleep modes?
Am asking because if I can't disable it or ensure I don't use it, then the SW/firmware controlling it will need to be analysed from a aviation certification viewpoint.
