Hi,

I am testing the different Master DC Modes (Master- and Slave- Mode) on the AM3359 ICE. As Master I use Twincat 3 on an Beckhoff CX6920 Industrial PC with Win CE. Also I run the Acontis Master-Stack on the same Hardware with Linux RT Preempt.

The problem is that the DC Slave Mode (Bus-Shift-Mode on Acontis) don't work. The Error says DC out of sync. On the other hand the Master-Mode on Twincat works fine, but I need for the Acontis Stack the Slave-Mode. Is there anyone how knows this problem or has solved it. Acontis say that's a problem of AM3359 ICE Board.

Hi Jan,

are you using the latest TI EtherCAT ESC from IA-SDK 1.1.0.3 for this? Do you have any more details (such as wireshark logs)?

I know we will have improvements in our DC mode operation in the next version of the SDK (due out very soon). I also asked our engineering team to look into that issue. But we do not have the special master confiuration that you are using here.

Hi,

yes I use the the SDK version 1.1.0.3. Here I make a wireshark log with this configuration. You can set it in Twincat 3 under your device on register EtherCat (Advanced Settings).
