Hello Greeting for the day,
Subject : XDS100 USB port detection issue.
I’m Balajhi and I recently purchased eZDSP5535 USB stick for evaluation of audio DSP algorithm/ USB headset.
I followed the instruction from “TMS320C5535 eZDSP Quick Start Guide”
1) CCS installation
2) Connected J2 USB port
3) CCS Configuration Instructions
4) Running the Demonstration
At first, it worked fine.
Currently, I face issue as described below.
Issue description :
1) Checked my PCs “Device Manager”. Device detected as
2) While working, J2 USB port disconnected by itself (approximately 3 minutes from J2 connected)
When I tried to click “Target-ConnectTarget”, following error message displayed
3) Next, updated PID as “A6D0” with the help of “Mprog3.5”

4) Program succeeded. Did “Cycle Device”
Checked my PCs “Device Manager”. Device detected correctly as
5) Again, issue at “step 2” re-appeared. (J2 disconnected by itself)
6) Updated PID as “A6D1” with the help of “Mprog3.5” (wrong reference)
Program succeeded. Did “Cycle Device”
7) From this time, device is detected in
Other devices

Texas Instruments XDS100+RS232 V1.0
And target is not getting connected with CCS or with Mprog.
Tried to scan device with Mprog, but gives result as,
Number of Blank Devices = 0
Number of Programmed Devices = 0
Also, tried to Erase Device with Mprog, but gives result as,
No Devices found ...
Now, how to recover ?
Please provide recovery method to get the device working.
