Looking for JPEG codec example for OMAP3530

Hi,

I've been looking for a JPEG encode/decode example app that runs on OMAP3530 (or one that could be adapted for the OMAP3530).

After perusing TI posts I did see references to an example for OMAPL138/C6748, though does anyone know if that example could be used as model for an example to be run a OMAP3530?

Hi Sam,

I suggest you to try with the gstreamer multimedia processing library which provides uniform framework across platforms.

Thank you for the links to the gstreamer JPEG examples.

I was actually looking for lower-level, i.e. DMAI, encode/decode examples, but after doing a more thorough search of my DVSDK 4.01 in its DMAI subdirectory found exactly what I was looking for under:

../dmai_2_20_00_14/packages/ti/sdo/dmai/apps/image_encode[decode]_io1/

The apps there provide an excellent model for setting up the jpegenc[dec] codec engine.
