DVSDK 3.10

its coming; internal tests ongoing on beta candidates....

Since I have to start the a new development on the DM365 do you suggest to use tthe DSK2.x?

Is there some idea in the release date of the 3.10?

Unfortunately, I do not have any release date yet for the DVSDK 3.10 release which make me think we are still more than a month or so away; therefore, I would suggest you proceed with DVSDK 2.0 for now.  I will see if I can find out more information and added to this post.

May I please join beta testing?

I suppose DVSDK 3.10 used CodeSourcery arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc, Linux kernel 2.6.32. Is it right?

you are correct, for DM355 you can see more information on the PSP release notes for the upcoming DVSDK 3.10 release at  link below  (note PSP is only one component of DVSKD release)

I should add that when DVSDK 3.10 is released, you will not have to go to GIT or use Arago as suggested on the PSP release notes above.  We will provide a nice software download page where you can readily download all the installation files which we have already tested to ensure compatibility.  Hence the installation process should resemble but perhaps be simpler then our current DVSDK offering.

DVSDK 3.10 has released a long back. There are few issues with audio encode/decode. I have evaluated the DVSDK 3.10 and it takes consumes around 90-95% ARM while decoding speech file. Also it is mentioned in release notes that, simultaneous audio and video processing is not possible with DVSDK 3.10. Is there any update on this issue. 

I am planning to use this SDK in one of our projects with Linux kernel 2.6.31. We  need to have this simultaneous audio - video proceesing in our application. Please suggest a solution to this problem.

i know...but i would like to know when the release is finished...

What I'm specially interested in is the uboot. I didn't find any uboot release in the 3.10beta. Does this mean a customized verision (as in 2.10) will not be part of 3.10 and uboot will be used from the official releases from now on?
