AM3352 MLC, SLC flash interface

Hello,

For one of the project I have selected AM3352 Processor and would like to Interface MLC or SLC NAND flash for booting. In the development board TMDSSK3358 the board supports SD/MMC card.

I would like to use MLC or SLC NAND flash for booting.

Can any one help me on the hardware interface?

NAND boot mode is described in section 26.1.7.4 of the AM335X Technical Reference Manual, Rev. J.

Hello Biser,

Thanks for the quick response.

Can I get any reference design for the same.

We want to store the data as well as our application in the same NAND flash. Is it possible to use the same NAND for accessing the data also?

Linux supports file systems, so there is no problem booting and storing data on the same NAND.
