I have made my customized board based on TMDXDVP648 brought from Lyrtech (now called Nutaq). After going through multiple design cycles the board is now working perfect. In the mean time I come to know that the IC TMS320DM648ZUT9 is NRND and is replaced by TMS320DM648CUTD9 which is in PREVIEW state. I am really worried about the availability of this IC for my future design's. Do I need to worry about its availability as its status is PREVIEW? Secondly I still need evaluation kit like TMDXDVP648 (having two Ethernet ports) which is currently not available at TI as well as Nutaq. I really need friendly suggestion about its replacement.
