Hi Taqi,
Can i boot Linux on AM1808 attached on a custom board NAND flash using Ethernet cable ?
Ethernet boot is not possible on AM18x but you can load linux image and filesystem through ethernet,
Supported booting types are , SPI , NAND, NOR, SD.
The bootloaders should be laid on any one of the following SD/NAND/NOR/SPi and we can use the ethernet for loading kernel and filesystem.
You can flash bootloaders through serial port.

I just want to learn how to Load images on NAND Flash memory using Ethernet cable. Can i make the connection of device and my Host PC running on Win XP ? If yes, then can i check the status of device connection using Ethernet using CCS4 ?
Hi,
Have you got u-boot shell on your custom board?
If yes,
u-boot# tftpboot uImage
This is the command to load the kernel image from host(linux) machine to RAM addr of device.
