Hi,
can someone let me know what is the difference between DSP processors D830K011 and D830K013? K011 is working in Onkyo AV Receiver and it gone bad, question is can i replace it with K013 model?

Hi Slawomir,
The case marking indicates this is the DA830 part number which is performance audio part number. You will not find the datasheet for this device on ti.com as it is not publically distributed. Please get in touch with your local TI contact to obtain the latest version of the datasheet and errata document.
K011AZKB3 is PG 1.1 version of the silicon that supports max DSP speed of 300Mhz
K013AZKB4 is PG 2.0 version of the silicon that supports max DSP speed of 400Mhz.
You will need to look at the device errata and ROM chnages before determining what are the chnages in the 2 versions. In most cases this wouldn`t affect your design.

Rahul
Editted my previous reply. Correction: The second part number in my earlier post is K013. At high level, there is a difference in the ROM version and some errata issues reported on PG 1.1 are fixed in the PG2.0.
We can`t share the errata and the data sheet on the web so please work with you local TI contact.

Rahul
Many thanks for your replies. I live in Poland and there is no local TI contact in my country.
I'm repairing Onkyo AV receivers and there is D830K011AZKB300 chip in it, which has gone bad (premature aging). I'm not able to buy this model of chip for replace, only one i found id K013BZKB400, what do you thin, can i just desolder K011 and put K013 in there or maybe it will end with sparking blast? :)
OK, now i know that those IC's are TMS320DA830. I've replaced D830K011AZKB300 to D830K013AZKB400. Unit powered on properly, all functions seems to be working but there's no sound from the speakers.
What do you think, problem is in ROM or maybe in the DSP speed (300MHz vs 400MHz)?
How are you setting the DSP speed. Are you using the same boot image. Even if the part can run upto 400Mhz if you configure the PLLs correctly it can run @300Mhz. If however you have changed the device speed settings to 400Mhz, you will need to reconfigure the MCASP clocks which are derived from the SYS_CLK to be able hear audio.
