DAC usage in VPBE driver

I just observed that VPBE driver for DM6437 does not use DAC-0 (Video DAC A) for any display format. Is there any specific reason for not using DAC-0?

Can I use DAC-0 and connect my CVBS output on DAC_IOUT_A?

Please note that I'm using PSP-1.10.03
