I built an image using the: ti-sdk-am335x-evm-06.00.00.00
and it booted successfully after being flashed to the SD card. A colleague of mine made a different image and can boot it via TFTP, but when I tried to use the same image and boot via SD card method it won't work and constantly spits back messages about "read only filesystem"

I'm trying to understand what in the build procedure (probably in the kernel not in the u-boot) would cause linux to act this way? My colleague and I are not sure what differences he made and I'm hoping that the log can be analyzed for some hints without having to dig through every little thing in the build procedure.
