Modifying OMAP L138 LCDK to cut USB power

Hi All,

Could somebody help me, what would be the easiest solution to modify the OMAP L138 LCDK board so, that it'd not be powered from the USB line? At the moment, if it's powered from the separate power plug, and one plugs the usb cable in, it'll result in a reboot of the board. I'd like to avoid this.

Istvan,

You can do this by de-solder and lifting the U4 (TPS2087D) 6^th Pin alone and leave it float.
