CCS V5.5 Example Projects

Hello,


I would like to try some example programs for the TMS320C6416T processor. I have installed CCS5.5, but I do not see any examples folder in the installation directory. Can I just create new projects and copy the projects from the examples directory under CCS 3.3? Or where I can I get example programs?

    Vimala,

    You can either import the projects from CCS 3.3 or create a new project and copy the example files. You will also need to copy the CSL libraries and source, or re-build the libraries using the newest tools. Importing from CCS 3.3 is not always perfect, but it does a pretty good job; some manual intervention will usually be needed.
