AM335x I2C LCD

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCF8574

Hello

I have phyBoard-Wega-AM335x and I2C-LCD(4x20 LCD with PCF8574) and I want to display some messages on the screen. I have activated I2C on the board and created a 3.3V to 5V adapter so I can see that LCD on address 0x3F. The problem I met is that its quite difficult to find something about such connection as if nobody have tried to use I2C-LCD with embedded Linux. A lot of libraries for Arduino, AVR, Raspberry(Wiring Pi), none for normal embedded Linux

Could you help me finding any information about dealing with LCD via I2C?

Thanks in advance

Best regards,

Paul
