AM335X NOR flash - UBIFS for RFS

Hi,

We are planning to have UBIFS RFS for NOR flash in our design. Based on our research, it looks like UBIFS is better than JFFS2. We would like to hear from TI suggestion for selecting UBIFS for NOR flash.

Hi Sankar,

The Sitara AM335x SDK comes with pre-built UBIFS images, located in <sdk_dir>/filesystem. These are based on the Arago project.

UBIFS will be more effective because of it's write-back support and on the flight compression specially with NOR flash. You can find all related reference from sdk directory.
