integrate SysBios in makefile based project

Hi,

I want to integrate SysBios (version 06.33.06.50) in our makefile based project. That means we are trying to compile our project with custom made makefiles. We are not using CCS at all.

But unfortunately I could not find a way to integrate SysBios in the makefile based project.

Can you please provide me an example or “How to setup and use SysBios in makefile based project ” ?

Have you seen the descriptions in the SYS/BIOS 6.33 Getting Started Guide (“1.8 Using SYS/BIOS as a Standalone Product”) and the User’s Guide (SPRUEX3K, “2.3 Building SYS/BIOS Applications”)? These documents provide some overview, and point to wiki pages that have some makefile-based examples for building with GCC.

Hi Scott,

Yes I had a look and tried them for TDA2x. Individually they are ok.

Now I am trying to integrate them in starterware of vision sdk 2.0, but with no success. It would be really helpful, if you can provide an example where SysBios is integrated into multicore makefile project.

Otherwise How can I link configuration file to makefile based project.

Recent IPC releases (in the examples/ directory) include multicore, makefile-based examples that might help provide a starting point. They also demonstrate an approach for partitioning your 'core-specific' files from cross-core, 'shared' files.

[ Note that the TDA2x is similar to the DRA7XX, so while there aren't TDA2x-specific examples, there are DRA7XX ones you could use. ]

Here's a direct link to an example from the latest IPC release you might start from.
