Hi there,

I'm thinking about TMDXEVM3358 for a project evaluation. I'll need ADC connection. I saw TMDXEVM3359 (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_Industrial_Automation_EVM_User_Guide#ADC_Inputs) used to have ADC Inputs on the daughterboard with test header J30 but that EVM was obsolete. Does TMDXEVM3358 have something similar?

Hi Steve,

Yes, it has. Just note that AIN[3:0] are occupied by the LCD Touchscreen. You can find all the EVM schematics here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335xBoards

just want to mention here that there is also TMDSICE3359 which has ADC pins routed to an I/O expansion header.

Thanks a lot for your quick help! I quickly went through TMDSICE3359 doc. Does it support Linux? I didn't see it on wiki,

Steve,

Linux runs on the AM335x SoC and is supported by TI Linux-SDK. Direct board support is not available for the ICE boards (see the other discussions here). Some people ported on their own. But you need to have good Linux knowledge to do that...
