Hello

I want to autostart the application program when the am3358 is power-up.The filesystem is base-rootfs-am335x-evm.In the file,i don't find the script of rc.local .So i don't konw which script must be modified to autostart my application program in the directory of /mxz/test.

Can you tell me which script should be modified to achieve my purpose.

Hi,

1. Add your script to the /etc/init.d/ directory.
2. Make it executable.
3. Update the runtime control with the following command:

update-rc.d <your_script_name> defaults

This will add the needed symbolic links to the /etc/rc#.d/ directories.

with your help, i have solved the problem

update-rc.d test.sh defaults 98

But i have encountered another problem.When the am3358 is power on,the system will autostart the application program.The application program like this

while(1)
{
write(fd,(buf+1),0);
printf("write_data%d=%d\n",1,buf[1]);
}

When i want to stop the program.I input command of Ctrl+C.But it is not have effect.

please help me.
