Questions about The Global Variable dp_status

Following is the response I got from the folks who wrote the software stack

At this moment the bit 6 of the dp_status is not used. The information about new output data is unfortunately hidden in the stack.

The only way to detect new outputs is:

Save the pointer which you get from the function call update_outputs;

If the pointer changes, there were new outputs. The content may remain the same, but they were transmitted from the master.

There is no automatically way to detect that the content of the outputs is new (has changed).
