How to fit the os drive for NDK when changing the PHY chip?

HI all,

Our hardware is based on AM335x, and now is changing from MII+ SMSC LAN8710 phy to RMII+Atheros AR8031 phy.

I tried to change the pinmax and the MII mode to RMII mode.But my original program can not send out package anymore. SO I would like to ask what others shall I change to fit my program to the new phy chip?

Hello,

The NDK driver for AM335x uses only Standard Phy registers, so ideally the driver should work irrespective of PHY.

The changes you'll have to make are on Phy number, Pinmux and RMII related changes.
