C6678 PCIe enumeration

Hi!

I am using a custom board connected to a PC host whose operation system is windows XP. The DSP is set as End-point mode. Our purpose is that the host can enumerate the devices once powed on. But DSP can't be enumerated.

I've set LTSSM_EN=1 and I monitor LTSSM_STATE field in DEBUG0 register. The value of LTSSM_STATE is 0x0.

I don't know how to solve this problem. Hope someone helps.

Hi Fan,

The LTSSM_STATE field (bits[4:0]) in DEBUG0 register (0x21801728) to show the status of the PCIe link. It will not be 0x11 if the link is disconnected. Please see PCIE user gude Appendix A.1 for the names of the LTSSM states corresponding to the encoded values.

Hi Ganapathi,

What might be the problem that the link is disconnected?

We use IIC-NOR Flash boot mode with IBL in EEPROM. And we want to use PCIe to connect the HOST and DSP.

Whether should we parameter PCIe in IBL? If so, which registers are related?

Hi Fan,

Please share the following information

1. How to flash the IBL on EEPROM.(Are you followed any documents or links)

2. Are you flashed the pre build IBL binary or rebuild the MCSDK IBL source? MCSDK version?

3. Boot Mode switch settings?
