TMS320VC5416 software reset

Hi,

Could you let me know software reset with TM320VC5416?

I think my board has some problem, so I'd like to make reset by Software when DSP initialized.

Please guide to me how to make software reset.

    Hi,

    With respect to software reset you can find details in TMS320C54x DSP Reference Set :  Volume 1: CPU and Peripherals.

    Here is the link  TMS320C54x

    Refer to section  6.10.3 - which mentions about the instruction which performs a nonmaskable software reset that can be used any time to put the C54x DSP into a known state.
