Conflicting tool versions for networking applications

NSP client example doesn't work with the following tool set:

SYS/BIOS 6.37.02.27
XDCTOOLS 3.25.05.94
NDK 2.22.03.20
NSP VAYU 4.08.00.01

When running the client example on CENTAURUS (Vision Mid EVE) CortexA8 I'm got no ping response from evm.
Just downgrading to older SYS/BIOS 6.35.04.50 resolves that issue.

Besides the "client" demo my CENTAURUS application uses the older "nsp_dm814x_01_00_00_10" instead of Vayu-NSP. In combination with the BIOS/XDC/NDK versions above I can receive all network packets but cannot send "bigger" ones (>2KiB).

Trying various combinations (I cannot name them all) results only in compiler errors due to incompatible API changes, so I didn't succeed.

Is there a tool combination that is verified for both CENTAURUS (Vision Mid EVE) and VAYU (Vision High 28)?
Please be aware the SYS/BIOS version is hard to change due to software organization structure inside the whole company.

Current release version of the NSP_GMACSW package 4.11.00.00, and it is being validated on the Centaurus (VisionMid) platform, both on the M3 and the A8 cores. The dependencies being used for this validation are as follows:

SYS/BIOS 6.37.01.24
XDCTOOLS 3.25.05.94
NDK 2.23.02.03

The NSP package is no longer called NSP_VAYU, but is now called the more generic NSP_GMACSW (to indicate the multi-device support).

I would recommend using the latest NSP package and trying it with the other packages of your choice. It seems unlikely there would be an issue with the different Sys/Bios version since you are one only patch version ahead. There may be an issue with the older NDK, and I would recommend upgrading to the 2.23.02.03 release (publicly available here). To get the latest NSP package, please consult with your local FAE.

My local FAE, Mr. Thorsten Lorenzen, is hard to reach.

As indicated in my last post, please contact your local FAE (probably the same source from which you obtained the older version you are apparently working with).
