Hi , everyone

    Now, I have  OMAPL138-SOM EVM boart ,In the Baseboard J29 has a VPIF interface;now I want design another board to implement to connect a 4.3’ lcd to the L138 Baseboard.

   Now,I have some question:

 1．I know the omapl138 support the TFT are Sharp_LCD035Q3DG01 and Sharp_LK043T1DG01 . Does it support another TFT Panel,if so ,what  I could do to modify the kernel.

    You have to modify the board file as per your LCD panel parameters such as LCD panel name, LCD resolution.

    You may need to modify the panel driver but it depends what panel you are using.

    Typically, Better to choose the generic LCD panel driver If unknown panel has been used.
