DVRRDK_04.00.00.03 codec different DVRRDK_04.01.00.02

hi all ,i saw the DVRRDK_04.01.00.02 codec is different from the DVRRDK_04.00.00.03

the before rdk is support the MPEG2 codec,so if i want to add other codec by myself on the base DVRRDK_04.01.00.02 ,so how can i make my own codec can be compiled into the bios6?

whether just do that copy the codec to the ti_tools then make dvr_rdk_bios6_all can do it?

Do you want to migrate codec version or do you want to integrate a new codec. You will not be able to integrate a new codec. It requires lot of changes in dvr_rdk.

i want to migrate the g711 video enc and dec to DSP,so whether i can do with that ?

I don't know what is g711 video encoder/decoder. I have heard of only g711 speech/audio .Anyway integrating a new codec on c674 is complex and involves creating a new link like algLink or using RPE.You will not be able to do it by just modifying makefiles.

when i integrate the g711,whether i need to modify the following array?

const Rpe_ServerClassConfig *Rpe_serverClassConfigArray[] = {
& TI_AUDDEC1_serverClassConfig,
& TI_AUDENC1_serverClassConfig,
& Rpe_endServerClassConfig
};

for example add some serverClassConfig like the TI_AUDDEC1_serverClassConfig definition?
