HI,
My design is using USB0 as usb device. However, only DP & DM are provided on connector due to system limitation. Is that ok to feed VBUS with internal 3.3V on board?
thanks,
Louie

Hi Louie,
May be you are using self powered USB & VBUS signal from external host can be used to detect whether host is connected or not. Could you please share snapshot os schematic & what you are intending to implement?

Vinayak
No, USBx_VBUS pin must be supplied from a 5V source. Configuration depends on USB mode:
Host: AM335X pin USBx_DRVVBUS drives a power switch to provide VBUS voltage to the USB connector. This VBUS voltage must be sensed by USBx_VBUS.
Device: VBUS voltage comes from the USB connector. This VBUS voltage must be sensed by USBx_VBUS.
In all cases VBUS must be >= 4.4V to start a session.
