Hi!

Is there any guide/tutorial/sdk for setting up AM3359 ICE board as Profibus Master available? For all of my searching around, all I have is setting up the board as slave. Is it possible to set it up as the master?

Hi,

Industrial SDK only provides an example for Profibus Slave, there is no implementation of Profibus Master available now.

Dear Vinesh,

Is Texas Instruments working on a Profibus FDL Master implementation for the PRU (OSI layer 2)?
If so, when will this be available?

Profibus Master implementation will be available in 4Q 2015, in 2.1.1 release.

Dear Vinesh,

Thank you very much for your answer. I am investigating the possibilities of this device for a hardware development project. Could you please help me with the two following questions?
Will this new release contain full Profibus FDL support?
Will this release also be accompanied with a Profibus certificate?
