AM335x Gigabit throughput under Linux

Hello:

What is the measured Gigabit performance of AM335x under Linux for TCP/IP and UDP transfers? I have seen the words "wire speed" here and there in TI's documentation, but how does it translate to a real world performance under Linux? Specifically, are the iperf benchmarks available? In addition to iperf, some real world application numbers would also be helpful.

I am considering the AM335x for my next product. Before committing my time to testing the EVM I would like to know what kinds of benchmarks are already available.

Hi, Biser!

Thank you for the helpful answer. I am glad to see that Sitara can achieve some 35% of full GbE speed. I wonder if the new multicore Keystone could approach 100%. These Keystone parts are still "preview". Would be good to know when the Keystones are going to be available ;-)
