AM335x support eMMC ver5.0

Dear sir,

Can I use the eMMC ver5.0 for booting and data storage device on AM335x ?
http://www.jedec.org/standards-documents/technology-focus-areas/flash-memory-ssds-ufs-emmc/e-mmc

I understood taht AM335x MMC supports the MMC command defined in the MMC standard specification v4.3 from TRM,

Is this impossible to use the eMMC ver5.0 device on AM335x ?

And I can add that we had some Beaglebone Black boards modified so that 2 had 16GB eMMC that are 4.5 spec and 2 that had 32GB eMMC 5.0 spec. They booted and worked just fine.

Hi Steve,

can you share which eMMC you have tested with on the BBB? That would be great.
My customer has an issue booting from a Hynix H26M41103HPR, while a Samsung KLM4G1FEPD-B031 worked fine.
