Hi All,

we are designing custom board using Jorjin ATCN(omap4460) SOM.

we have connected PMIC and Audiocodec to I2C1

but while codec registration and initialization booting hangs/stop.

Pls clarify us can we connect other devices like Audiocodec other than PMIC (TWL6032) to I2C1.

    Hello Raghunath,

    You should be able to connect BUS Control of both Audiocodec & PMIC to I2C1.

    See how I2C connection is managed in both official reference platforms Blaze & Pandaboard:

    So you should connect both bus control of Audio IC & bus control of PMIC to I2C1, and for the Smartreflex you should use the specially dedicated I2C5 (SR_I2C) to perform dynamic voltage control and power sequencing with the external power IC.
