Hi
Is any performance evaluation was done on OMAP5 ARM Cortex-A15 cores In Linux ?
What is the maximum frequency which can be set for each ARM Cortex-A15 core in Latest OMAP5 GLSDK 6.04.00.02 release ?

Hello Ishaqe,
The maximum frequency supported by Cortex A15 MPU in OMAP5 depends on the Operating Performance Point.
OMAP5 supports four Operating Performance Points (OPP)
OPP_LOW_MPU
OPP_NOM_MPU
OPP_HIGH_MPU
OPP_SPEEDBIN_MPU
The highest clock frequency for MPU is 1699.2MHz at OPP_SPEEDBIN_MPU.
OPP_SPEEDBIN_MPU operating point provides a higher guaranteed frequency in OPP_HIGH_MPU mode by performing binning during production test for the MPU. This operating point will only be available with some orderable part codes. For more information, please, contact your T.I. representatives
I think that in OMAP5 GLSDK 6.04.00.02, the MPU subsystem is clocked by 1500MHz.
For more information refer to OMAP5 Operating Condition Addendum - http://www.tij.co.jp/jp/lit/ug/swpu329/swpu329.pdf
