AM3352, TPS65910A31 and VRTC in back-up mode

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352

Hi,

there are already some posts on the subject I know, but I want to be sure to understand correctly:

as suggested by figure 2 in TPS65910Ax User's Guide for AM335x Processors (Rev. C) (swcu093c.pdf), the am3352 VDDS_RTC can be driven by the TPS65910A31 VRTC LDO.

When the PMIC enters in backup state, it will leave only the VRTC LDO active, and all the other rails will be shut down, correct? So we just see the power consumption on VRTC, we won't be able to wakeup the processor from  the AM335x RTC but it will mantain the time information, correct?

According to http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_Power_Consumption_Summary#RTC-Only, the max power consumption on VDDS_RTC is 30uA at room temperature. Can it exceed the 100uA rating at high temperature?

Thanks, best regards

Massimo
