Does the DSP/BIOS for C67x / c672x have a gdb option (serial debugger) OR

Has anybody used a serial debugger for DSP/BIOS on c67x / c672x

No, there is no serial debugger for the C6000 DSPs.

You would need CCS and an emulator.

Most of our evaluation boards have an embedded emulator on then and CCS4 is free with the embedded emulation on the board or with the low costs XDS100 emulator (check in the link below if it supports the platform you want).
