WiFi-Direct/P2P Mode does not work on OMAP5432 EVM with GLSDK 6.04.00.02

Hi,

I find that the P2P/WiFi-Direct configuration commands (given via wpa_cli) do not work with the latest GLSDK on OMAP5432 EVM.

FAIL

Scanning & connecting to a regular Access Point goes through fine without any issues.

Can you let me know if a fix for this issue is imminent ? This used to work with GLSDK 6.03.

Hi Anurag,

This release is not verified for the omap5432 platform, (for DRA7xx only). So you better revert to the previous version, until full functionality is achieved in the next release.

Hi Boyko,

Thanks for the information. We also have a DRA7xx EVM but it does not have the WiLink8 Module. Could you let us know which specific module to buy (and where to buy it from) to test 2.4GHz & 5GHz operation and Wifi-Direct feature ?

Curious but the feature must be supported. Did you check /var/log/wpa.log for some odd message?
Perhaps specific query to the GLSDK team must be sent.
