Hi,

I read that SRIO in 6678 can be configured for 4 x 1 and 1 x mode.

So i would like to configure as follows.

DSP ---lane0----------------- Device 1

-- lane1 ----------------- Device 2

-- lane2 ----------------- Device 3

-- lane3 ----------------- Device 4

each laneX(x=0,1,2,3) is different rate setting.(5G, 3.125, 2G , 1G)

Is this configuration possible ?

And the answer is same for 66AK2Hx ?

Hi,

This configuration is not possible on 6678 and 66AK2Hx devices.

Refer section "1.2 RapidIO Feature Support in SRIO" in SRIO user guide (SPRUGW1B):

Ability to run different ports at different baud rates (only integer multiple rates supported i.e. 2.5G and 5G supported, 3.125G and 5G is not supported).

So, if i understand correctly,

I can use SRIO for 1x mode, and rate of mixture of 2.5G and 5G can be possible.

Configuration as belows is possible ?

6678 ----------------------2.5G -----------------------Device0

. 5G -------------------------Device1

2.5G -----------------------Device2

2.5G ------------------------Device 3
