EZSDK or DVRRDK ?

Which are your resolutions? We have JPEG and H264 encoding. A similar pipeline can be run on the DM8168 (adding omx_tvp), supporting dual capture through TVP7002.

You can give it a try with the eval SDK.

Our resolutions  are 1080p,720p ,720x480,640x480.

Does Ridgerun SDK support integrating third party H.264 codecs? How many instances  can be run simultaneously?

I recommend you contact TI FAE to discuss choice of SDK suitable for your project.

Regarding TVP7002 support in DVRRDK , TVP7002 configuration is external to DVRRDK. There are no changes in DVRRDK to support TVP7002.

        Your resolutions sound fine. Now, about porting H264, we have ported several algorithms to the DSP in the past, we can help you porting your codec, you can contact us to discuss more in detail about it.

         For details about the RDK as Badri mentioned you can contact your FAE.

   On the Evaluation SDK menu, select the one that you want (DM8168 for TI EVM) and then the system will send you an email with instructions.

To support 2 ch capture and encode, it is recommended to use DVRRDK.
