OMAP3 WinCE 6.0 BSP 4-bit mode Support in SDIO Driver

We are trying to integrate a Murata WL8686 WLAN Driver into the 6.12.03 version of the OMAP3 WinCE BSP.

For some reasons, we are seeing that the SDIO Card times out waiting for the interrupt in Window CE. On 1-bit mode, the WLAN Card works correctly but the throughput is no where near the requirement. When we switch to 4-bit mode, the WLAN card time-outs and does not complete initialization.However the driver in Linux is functional normally.

Is there any limitations with the SDHC Driver provided with the BSP for supporting SDIO Devices [like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth] in 4-bit mode. What kind of SDIO validation has been done on this Driver?

Which SDHC controller are you using? 1,2 or 3.

For BSquare being the leader in SDIO/SD integeration their implementation in the CE OMAP BSP leaves a lot to be desired (I'am being kind).

SDHC #2 is broken and SDHC #3 is not even defined.

We are using the SDHC 2 in our setup. Has anyone had any experience of integrating SDIO devices with the BSquare WinCE BSP on the OMAP3?
