DM3730 Pin Mapping X-Loader U-Boot

Hi

I am new to android and wanted some help and wonder if anyone can help me in this regard. I am using VAR_SOM_OM37 and have been supplied with precompiled MLO and u-boot.

Now I want to perform some Pin remapping with in x-loader and some initialization in u-boot and not sure where and how to start. Is there any documentation I need to refer which could help me in this regard. Also Im looking for an IDE on Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit which could help me in this. I have had a look at eclipse is that the best choice.

Hi Muhammad,

There are various methods and places where you can configure pinmux settings:

x-loader: You can find in the board file the following define:

#define MUX_DEFAULT() and below you can change the settings for each one pin. For example the path for BeagleBoard is:

.../x-load-1.51-psp04.02.00.07.sdk/board/omap3beagle/omap3beagle.c

uboot: In the board header file. For example the path for BeagleBoard is:

.../u-boot-2010.06-psp04.02.00.07.sdk/board/ti/beagle/beagle.h

Kernel, boot args and user space setting of pinmux are described at the links:

Please, note that the setting has been made in the x-loader and uboot can be overwritten in the kernel and userspace.
