Hi,

I try to getting stated with Sitara AM3395 ICE.

Im using:

CCS 5.5
XDCTOOLS (Version 3.25.3.72 )
SYS/BIOS (Version 6.35.4.50 )

Attached you can find my steps in figures.

When I build the project I get the error

Are you using SDK 1.1.0.4? If yes, which example are you trying? Also the SDK doesn not support TI-RTOS package.

Hi Vinesh,

Im running profinet_slave example on AM3359ICE from SDK 1.1.0.4 and would like to add SPI communication. Is ther also a SPI example? What are the Steps to use SYS/BIOS for SPI? Can you recomment me somethink to get started with this?

Will TiRTOS be availebale for AM3359ICE in the foreseeable future?

Matthias,

There is no independent app that illustrates SPI communications, but the examples profinet_slave, ecat_appl etc. use SPI to implement different functions. You can use those implementations as reference.

I do not think TiRTOS is in plans for ICE boards.

Hi Vinesh,

I found this (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM_McSpi) in the wiki, unfortunately an example is missing. Is there something else I can refer too? Some thing in the kind of a SPI-loopback example?

I'm afraid an independent example as such is not available. You might find more info on Starterware - http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/StarterWare_02.00.01.01_User_Guide#McSPI , but again, Starteware does not support ICE. The modifications should be direct though.
